A lesson in how to approach
The moment Dutch walks in the door Evangeline is in raptures. Her whole body is thrown into a kind of unpremeditated, unselfconscious dance... she waves her arms and lunges forward, shrieking and sighing, until she is in possession of the thing she wants: her Daddy's full attention and the security of being held in his arms.
At the moment when their eyes meet her gaze is luminous - as if she has just swallowed a lightbulb.
I wish she knew that is how I feel when I look at her.

Oh she knows....I have seen you look at her and that luminous abandon is definitely there in your eyes.
