We got our Christmas photos done a couple of weeks ago. The shoot began a half hour before sunset - we had just enough time to try to catch the best light. Our photographer friend went to acrobatic lengths to inspire Audrey to smile; out of about four hundred shots we probably got ONE or perhaps TWO worthy smiles. The real priceless moments came after we gave up trying...when Audrey happened upon a small cluster of her favorite things: unripened oranges. We have discovered that they make great balls. In Arizona they practically fall from the sky so we not only save money (why buy a ball when you can pick one?), but we get to smell like citrus after we play!

Oh...my...gosh!! These pictures are so beautiful!! What I wouldn't give to have a picture where I didn't have to photo shop my foot out of the frame because I was using it to hold Brody down and still for more than half a second!! Sigh.
